Education minister visits Elora PS
Minister visit - On Nov. 12, minister of education Stephen Lecce made a stop at Elora Public School to learn more about outdoor learning. Lecce spent about 50 minutes outside with Breanne Phillips’ Grade 5/6 class. The 5/6 class was chosen due to availability and it’s incorporation of outdoor learning into programming. Lecce spent time with the students observing them engage in outdoor learning. He also asked the students questions and they told him about what activities they were working on.
