ECT's Dixie Swim Club gets WODL drama award
The Dixie Swim Club, directed by Jim Monaghan and stage managed by Jayne Simpson, has won an award for outstanding ensemble from the Western Ontario Drama League.
The hilarious and poignant play performed by Elora Community Theatre, has just finished entertaining hundreds of people in its two weekend run at the Fergus Grand Theatre.
Now, the group has received an announcement from WODL that its performance has been recognized by the adjudicator, and will be presented with the Outstanding Ensemble award at a ceremony in Owen Sound on March 21.
ECT’s third show of the season, Spring Planting, opens on May 1 and runs to the May 10.
