ECT presents Alice in Wonderland

Elora Community Theatre (ECT) is presenting the family classic Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll as its final presentation of the 2016/2017 season at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

Chasing the White Rabbit, Alice tumbles down the rabbit hole into Wonderland.

She meets all its famous residents: the King of Hearts, Red Queen, White Queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Gryphon, Mock Turtle, the Dormouse, Mad Hatter and March Hare, the Frog Footman, the Duchess and the Caterpillar.

Alice in Wonderland is directed by long time ECT member Jennifer Zirk with a talented cast, ranging in ages from 13 to 87.

Officials state this is not just a children’s show, “it is suitable and enjoyable for people of all ages.”

“With fantastic set pieces, colourful costumes, and a multi-talented cast, it treats the audience to life lessons, laughter and music,” ECT officials note.

The show will run on May 5 and 12 at 8pm; May 6 and 13 at 2 and 8pm; and May 7 and 14 at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the theatre box office, by calling 519-787-1981 or online: fergusgrandtheatre.ca
