Economic development presentation to Erin council
At 6:30pm on Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Erin Equine Task Force will present an economic development report to council.
The meeting will take place in the Root Cellar of the Erin administrative building / town hall.
The report being presented will demonstrate sustainable and innovative economic development in Erin leveraging the existing local equine community as a starting point.
The report takes into account infrastructure, marketing, manufacturing and sustainability, with the goal of increasing commercial and industrial property tax revenue and redistributing the tax burden off of residential.
Another objective of the report is to create a model on which future business for Erin can be analysed, measured, and moved forward through community consultation.
