ECCLES, Betty Lou; passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Hospice Niagara (The Stabler Centre) St. Catharines on Monday January 19, 2015 at the age of 63. Betty was the much loved daughter of Mary Eccles and the late Kenneth Eccles of Guelph. Loving mother of Robert Garner (Rosa) of Tillsonburg and Stephanie Eccles of Waterloo. Dear sister of Morris Eccles (Carole) and Karen Zago (Dan), and sadly missed by aunts, cousins and friends. Betty was an employee of General Motors, St. Catharines for over 30 years and prior to that worked in retail. She moved to Guelph with her parents in 1968 and went to high school at John F. Ross and Guelph Business College. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service and interment will be held at a later date in Mount Forest cemetery. The family would like to thank the wonderful care provided by Hospice staff, nurses who attended Betty in her home and volunteer drivers.
