Early learning presentation

The Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington is offering an early learning presentation with keynote speaker Dr. Jean Clinton on Nov. 19.

Clinton speaks about the changes in the Child Care and Early Years Act, benefits to play-based learning, the crucial role for parents in their children’s development, and the future of Best Start Child and Family Centres.

The presentation is on Nov. 19 at 7pm at J.D. Hogarth Public School, 360 Belsyde Ave. E. in Fergus.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Clinton is renowned locally, provincially, nationally, and more recently, internationally, as an advocate for children’s issues. He is also “passionately committed to ensuring that children and youths’ needs and voices are heard and respected,” states a press release from the centre.
