Earlier deadline for this year's Canada Summer Jobs program
Perth-Wellington MP Gary Schellenberger wants to make employers interested in applying for funding through the Canada Summer Jobs program aware of an earlier deadline.
This year, applications will be available online beginning Dec. 2, and must be submitted by Jan. 10 - much earlier than previous years.
“The new timelines will mean successful employers will be notified sooner and have more time to recruit students,” said Schellenberger.
