The Centre Wellington committee of Ducks Unlimited Canada will hold its 24th annual auction and banquet on March27 at the Sportsplex here.
There will be a no-host cocktail hour starting at 6pm and there will be a roast beef and schnitzel dinner at 7:15pm.
There will be a live auction, prize presentation, and other special events to follow.
Tickets can be purchased on line or from one of the contact persons. The final deadline to buy tickets, available at ducks.ca, is March 20.
Ducks Unlimited Canada is a private, non-profit organization that conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitat for waterfowl.
That habitat also benefits other wildlife and people as well. DUC has preserved and restored hundreds of thousands of acres of wetlands since it was formed early in the last century.
The local chapter has done nearly ten dozen wetlands restoration projects.
