Driver transported to hospital in life-threatening condition

ERIN – At around 3pm on Dec. 11, Wellington County OPP responded to a collision on Trafalgar Road at Sideroad 17, south of Hillsburgh, according to an OPP press release.

One driver was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The roadway was closed from 4:10pm to 9pm as the OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement members investigated the cause of the collision.

Deeks, one-and-a-half-year-old white sheepdog, was a passenger in an involved vehicle. Police say the sheepdog fled the scene and is now missing. Deeks was wearing a collar but without tags.

Police are asking anyone who sees a large, white, stray dog to call police or local animal services and are asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision to call: 1-888-310-1122.
