Nobody injured on board school bus involved in crash: police

WELLINGTON NORTH – Wellington Road 16 between Line 8 and Line 12 in Wellington North has been reopened by police after a crash on Jan. 11.

Police say they responded to a serious collision involving three vehicles on Wellington Road 16 at Line 10 at around 8:15am on Thursday.

An SUV, a car, and a school bus with 12 students on board were involved, according to police.

A driver, the lone occupant of the car, was transported to hospital with serious injuries, and the driver of the SUV was treated by paramedics at scene.

Police say nobody on the school bus was injured.

The roadway was reopened as of 2:15pm by police following an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
