Driver taken to Hamilton hospital after serious crash
A driver was sent to a Hamilton hospital in critical condition following a serious crash here last week.
On June 15 at about 3:45pm emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 109 west of Arthur.
Wellington OPP officials say a westbound red Ford pickup truck was stopped for a school bus when it was struck from behind by a Volkswagen Jetta.
The driver of the Jetta, who was initially trapped, was transported by Guelph-Wellington EMS to a local hospital and later transferred to a Hamilton Hospital, where he was in critical condition.
The cause of the collision was investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
