MAPLETON – The driver of a large truck was sent to hospital with minor injuries after the vehicle rolled over into a ditch here on May 21.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on Highway 6 near Sideroad 19 in Mapleton, south of Arthur, at about 10:30am on Friday.
“It was reported that a straight truck loaded with granular fertilizer left the roadway and rolled over,” states a press release from the Wellington County OPP.
“The driver and lone occupant was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.”
Highway 6 between Wellington Roads 17 and 109 was closed for clean-up.
