Driver killed in crash, OPP investigating
At approximately 4:50pm on Nov. 2, Wellington County OPP responded to a collision involving a car and a dump truck on County Road 21 near 4th Line near Inverhaugh.
OPP, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue, and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended.
The driver of the car, Amy Stiles, 38, of Fergus was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was transported by Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
County Road 21 was closed between County 7 and Fourth Line for several hours.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit attended to assist Wellington County OPP with this event. The investigation is continuing.
