DRENTERS, Johanna – Passed away peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Johanna Drenters age 93 years, was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Hendrika (Swinkles) Drenters. She was the loving sister of Carolina and her husband Antonius Remmig, Andreas Drenters, Agnes and her husband Hugh Eckerich, and Maria Drenters, and the late Petrus Drenters, the late Mathias Drenters, and the late Yosef Drenters. She was the dear aunt of Josef, Alice, Franciscus, Arlene, Andrew, Mathew, Joann, Elisbeth, Anthony, Lisa, Randal, and Kevin. She is survived also by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, where the family will receive friends on Friday, January, 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Johanna will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Rockwood, on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
