Drayton skating club celebrates 50 years
DRAYTON – The Drayton and District Skating Club celebrated 50 years on March 23 with a carnival themed The Golden Gala. All of the club’s past presidents were invited to the opening ceremonies and they received a plaque from Mapleton Mayor Greg Davidson and were recognized with a special skating number by the club’s alumni gold skaters. “It was a great time for all skating families from the past and present to get together and celebrate 50 years of the club,” officials stated.
