WELLINGTON COUNTY – This summer and fall, Drayton Entertainment is presenting tribute concerts in the county and surrounding areas.

Coming soon to the Drayton Festival Theatre is the Ultimate Tribute to Dolly, and The Buddy Holly Concert.

The Dolly tribute will star Daphne Moens on Oct.17. Backed by the Casino Brothers Band, the performance aims to bring the spirit of Dolly Parton’s career to life through rhinestones and sky-high hair.

Show times are 2:30 and 7:30pm on Oct. 17, and tickets are $45 for adults, $37.50 for a group of 10 or more, and $25 for youth.

Zachary Stevenson’s Buddy Holly tribute will be taking place on Oct. 2 at 2 and 7:30pm.

The performance will include hits such as “That’ll Be The Day,” “Oh Boy” and “Rave On.”

Cambridge

Coming to the Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge on Aug. 31 at 2 and 7:30pm is the Beach Party Boys.

The performance is a tribute to The Beach Boys, and will feature hits like “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” and “Surfin’ USA.”

Huron County

The Huron County Playhouse will be presenting the Ultimate Tribute to Dolly on Sept. 12 at 2 and 7:30pm, and The Buddy Holly Concert on Oct. 1 at 2 and 7:30pm.

Coming to the playhouse on Aug. 24 at 2 and 7:30pm is Brass Transit: The Musical Legacy of Chicago

Titled as “the world’s premier Chicago tribute band” on the Drayton Entertainment website, the performance aims to provide viewers “the soundtrack of your youth.”

Also coming to the playhouse is Black Gold: Songs That Touch Your Soul on Oct. 24 at 2 and 7:30pm. The experience will include music from The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner, Barry White, Michael Jackson and more.

Tickets to the above shows are listed at $45 per adult, $37.50 for a group of 10 or more, and $25 for youth.

The Huron County Playhouse Guild will also be hosting its annual fall fashion show and silent auction on Oct. 7. The guild is a registered non-profit, dedicated to raising money for the Huron County Playhouse for the last 54 years.

Tickets to this event are $50. Doors open at 5:45pm and the show begins at 7:30pm, with the silent auction and appetizers available in-between.
