Downtown showcase of business opportunities in Harriston
On May 28, from 11am to 3pm, Minto will host the first of a series of events called Tour the Town Downtown Property Open House.
The idea is to introduce entrepreneurs to properties available in the downtown, and in this case, Harriston.
Businesses and properties that are for sale or lease will be open and representatives will be on site to answer questions and offer tours of the buildings.
Questions related to starting or expanding a business in Harriston can be answered at the Information Centre in the Harriston library basement. Business resources from across the area will be on hand to answer questions one-on-one.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in starting a business in Harriston to get an understanding of the properties and resources that are available to make the dream of owning a small business a reality” said Belinda Wick-Graham, Business and Economic Manager for Minto.
A list of participating properties is available online at www.mintoed.com or by visiting the Information Centre, in the Harriston library basement the day of the event from 11am to 3pm.
