Donkey Sanctuary hosting Christmas "muletide"
The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada is inviting the public to attend one of four special open days before Christmas.
The sanctuary is inviting people to enjoy time with the donkeys and mules, hot chocolate, coffee, Christmas treats, stories and the opportunity to shop for unique gifts in the Long Ears Boutique.
After all, Christmas and donkeys go together, sanctuary staff point out.
The sanctuary will be open Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14, and 21 from 10am to 4pm weather permitting. If there is or has been a big snowfall, call ahead.
Donations are always appreciated.
