Dolmer, Shirley Elsie; Born in 1924 to John Thomas Wright and Mary Jane Rosalind Hatch. Elsie lived her life in the Guelph, Fergus area. Beloved wife of the late Gord Dolmer (1983) whom she married in 1943. Loving mother of Brian, Larry, Jude and Brenda (Larry) Ayres of Fergus. She leaves us with a peaceful mind, comforted by her “living legacy” of 7 grandchildren, Sharon Adshade, Susan Shackell, Leigh Ann Joseph, Sheryl Hill, Brian Dolmer, Michael Dolmer, and Mardi Billings, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren who will all miss their special Gram. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by granddaughter Kathy Ouderkirk and great grandchildren Jody, Kyle and Amanda; sisters Dorothy Lamb, Florence Charlesworth, Eileen Gilmour, Ethel Bessem and Clara Wright; brothers Tommy, Ted and Ken Withers. As Elsie had requested, a private family burial will take place. Donations to Wellington Terrace would be appreciated by the family.
