DOLL, Willi. Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 89 years. Willi Doll, of Elmira, was the beloved husband of Olga (Kausch) Doll for 65 years. Dear father of Peter (Lea) of Fergus, and Wilfred (Julie) of Elmira. Loved Opa of Angela (Robert), Carrie, and two great-grandchildren Tru and Ruby. Lovingly remembered by family in Germany and USA. Predeceased by his brother Hans (Margot) of Germany. Willi was an avid outdoorsman, loved walking, camping and gardening. He was an intricate carver and enjoyed making birdhouses. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Elmira Union Cemetery.
