Doherty, Catherine Kay Veronica (nee McIsaac)

Doherty, Catherine “Kay” Veronica (nee McIsaac); After a lengthy illness, peacefully with her family at her side, at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on February 17, 2009 in her 80th year. Lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 48 years, John Patrick Doherty. Fondly remembered by her daughters Patricia Doherty and Cathy Skinner and her son Darrin & his wife Christy. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Christina & Bradley Skinner and Hannah & Rebecca Doherty. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Friday, February 20th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church,  460 St. George St. West in Fergus, on Saturday, February 21st at 10am. Interment took place at St. Mary – St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elora. Family and friends gathered at the Parish Hall following the interment for a time of fellowship where they shared fond memories of Kay.
