DOBBIE, James - James Dobbie passed away suddenly, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Doreen. Children Deborah (Murray), Terry (Colleen), Lee Anne (David), Tamara (Kurt). Grandchildren Danett (James), Shane (Lisa), Brandon, Ryan (Courtney). Great Grandchildren Aaron, Alexandra, Jordyn, Leland and Maddison. Great-Great Grandson Dominic. James was pre-deceased by his parents Robert Dobbie Sr. and Lily, and 4 siblings. Family and friends visited at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St. W. Elora on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A Funeral Service followed in the chapel of the Elora funeral home at 1:00pm. Donations may be made in James’ memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Guelph Humane Society.
