‘Do it your own way’ at Mount Forest Run
MOUNT FOREST – The Terry Fox Run here on Sept. 17 will once again be a “Do it your own way” event.
“You can walk, run or ride anyway you want, as far as you want,” said local organizer Bill Dineen.
Organizers will be set up outside No Frills grocery store in Mount Forest with stickers, pledge sheets and Terry Fox T-shirts for sale on run day and will also take donations at that location.
Tax receipts will be issued for any donation over $10.
The local committee will also be at No Frills on Sept. 16 from 8am until noon.
All proceeds from the event will go to cancer research.
“Hope to see you over that weekend,” organizers state.
