Division champs

The Saugeen Maitland Lightning Midget AA team won the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) Western Division Championship and the Final Four bronze medal. Five members are from Centre Wellington: Lynsey Goodwin, Carson Lean, Olivia Macmillan, Emily Palmer and Kamryn Wilson. The team is coached by Ryan Black of Fergus and Kevin Weppler of Waterloo. The team finished the regular season in second place, and in the playoffs they defeated the Bluewater Hawks, Kitchener Lady Rangers and Cambridge Roadrunners to earn the division title. They advanced to the LLFHL final four championship weekend held March 30-31 in Toronto to play Kingston (central division champs), Mississauga (south central division champs) and Sudbury (east division champs). They finished the weekend by defeating Kingston 3-0, taking the bronze.       Submitted photo
