Dirksen, Johanna – Passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Shalom Manor, Grimsby at the age of 82 years. Loving mother of Willemina Ynema (Ron) and Dick Dirksen (Judy). Dear grandmother of Joanne, Diane Furtney (Gregg), James (Amanda), Scott (Bethany) and Lisa. Proud great grandmother of Hannah, Caleb, Lydia, Darien, Lincoln, Weston and Bastian. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, all in Holland. She was predeceased by her husband Rijk Dirksen (1981), three sisters and one brother. The Dirksen family received friends at Rosedale Baptist Church, Welland on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10 o’clock until time of the funeral at 11 o’clock. Private family interment followed at Palmerston Cemetery. Donations may be made through J.J.
