DICKINSON, Connie S. Passed away on October 8th, 2015 at her home in Alma, surrounded by her loving family and longtime friend Pat, at the age of 72. Best friend and partner for life to her husband Jim for almost 50 years. Mother to Sandra (Scott) Burke, Jimmy (Michelle), Billy (Lynn) and Tommy (Marie) Dickinson. Granny to Garrett, Cassidy, Mikayla, Kyle, Logan, Zachary and Addyson. Missed by her brother Fred “Ted” Johnston as well as sisters-in-law Eleanor, Mary (Richard), Marjorie (Don) and Doris (Alf) and brother–in-law Frank (Sheila). Connie will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family members and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Jean Johnston. Visitation took place at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street, Elora on Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00–9:00 pm, as well as one hour prior to the service on October 14th, 2015. The service took place at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
