Diabetes tag day planned by Fergus Lions
Tag day is coming - and for a good cause.
Fergus Lions Club diabetes liaison coordinator Brian Martin, says, “the Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA) has, once again, declared the month of November as Diabetes Awareness Month.”
The local club will be supporting the CDA by conducting a diabetes awareness tag day on Nov. 16 at Shoppers Drug Mart and Freshco in Fergus.
Information handouts about diabetes will be available and the group will be collecting voluntary contributions to help towards finding a cure for the disease.
