Diabetes group meets monthly
Living with diabetes has obvious challenges, but there are helpful resources available to keep patients informed and up-to-date on ways to stay healthy.
The Upper Grand Family Health Team is offering a free diabetes support group on the third Wednesday of each month from 4pm to 5pm at the Elora office (third floor at 143 Metcalfe Street).
The informal group operates as a drop-in, open to all members of the community, and referrals are not needed. People are encouraged to bring their questions and share information.
The group is overseen by a certified diabetes educator and a mental health professional.
