Determined dippers
The Grand Valley Lions held their 28th annual Polar Bear Dip on Jan. 1, with 51 registered dippers raising over $1,820 in pledges and approximately 150 pounds of food for the Grand Valley Food Bank. The event included two dippers from Switzerland, one from Germany and one from Cuba, with a great crowd gathered at Stuckey Park to watch the event. The Lions wish to thank emcee Jim Irvine and Attridge Bus Lines for providing two buses for the dippers to change in. Photo by Bob Glenn
