DEAGLE, Norma Pearl (nee Grose); Sadness is but a wall between two gardens, and so with joy, we announce that Norma Pearl Deagle (Grose), on Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 in her 92nd year has joined the love of her life, the late Ralph Deagle (April 2003) in heaven’s garden. Mother of Dr. George Deagle (Sarah)- Hazelton, BC , Robert Deagle & Sandy Deagle (Betty) – London , Dianne (Mike Downey)- Alma and Alice (John Williams)-Fergus. Mother-in-law to Louise, Carol & Lynn. She is the treasured grandmother and great grandmother of many grandchildren and she will live on in their hearts with smiles and laughter. Our “Grandma Giggle” knew how to cheer up the darkest of days. Her singing, music, cooking, laughter and wise words would put a contagious smile on everyone’s faces. She taught us the power of a smile and how it can brighten a day; she was the essence of love and “walked her talk”. Now it is time to celebrate her life and all the lives she’s touched. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 15 at the Alma Community Hall at 1:00 p.m. A most grateful and heartfelt thanks is extended to every person who works and volunteers at the Wellington Terrace. You are a very special and caring community and our family is honoured to call you family too!
