de Vries, Ellen (nee Buma) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Thursday, March 15, 2012, in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late Ted (August 2011). Loved mother of Leo (Colleen), William “Bill” (Melanie), Sylvia (Andrew) Terpstra, Laura (David) Geiger, Luke (Marsha) and Lydia (Randal) Grubb. Loving grandmother of Benjamin, Rachael, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Tjepke “Teddy”, Alexis, Daniel, Ryan, Sara, Jodi, Michael, Nichole, Emily, Nathanael, Joshua, Kaela, Shaun and Hope. Dear sister of Frieda (the late Scott) Campbell and Ida (Harry) Joostema. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held at Parkview Church, 89 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11am. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Reception followed in the church hall.
