Davidson, Mary Ethel (nee: Lawrence) Peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, May 16, 2011 at GMCH, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of James. Loving mother of James Arthur ‘Art’, Paul, June Woods, May Spears and her husband Darren and predeceased by her son Philip. Devoted and proud grandmother of Alexander and Rachel Woods and Colin and Olivia Spears. Predeceased by her brother Bill Lawrence. Rested at the Thomson Funeral Home (160 St. David Street North, Fergus, 519-843-2380). Visitation was held Tuesday, May 17 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (325 St. George Street West, Fergus) on Wednesday, May 18 at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery. In memoriam, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or the Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
