Date set for inaugural Minto meeting
The final meeting for the current Minto town council has been rescheduled and may be cancelled altogether.
Council agreed on Oct. 21 to move the meeting scheduled for Nov. 18 at 7pm to Nov. 17 at 6:30pm to avoid conflicting with the annual Light up the Town event at Tannery Park in Harriston.
If the agenda appears light for the Nov. 17 meeting, the CAO and mayor will assess the need for the meeting.
Council also set Dec. 2 at 7pm as the date for the inaugural meeting of the new council. The meeting, will include swearing in-ceremonies.
