Dance Championships
Abby Hergott, 20, of Drayton, recently returned home from the IDO (International Dance Organization) World Tap Championships which took place Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 in Reisa, Germany. Hergott was part of Team Canada along with her brother Typer Hergott and Hailey Crawford. All three local dancers received a silver medal in the production number called “The Speakeasy.” Both the Hergott’s also competed with the adult team (16 years old and over and won a bronze medal for their formation number called “Circus.”
