The ladies of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League from the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clifford teamed up with Laverne and Gloria Stinson of the Harriston Branch of the Wellington County unit on April 9 to present the annual Daffodil Luncheon in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Wellington County unit offers information on cancer and related topics, transportation to and from cancer related appointments, peer support, and volunteer opportunities.

The Lutheran ladies also included a bake table and silent auction.
Pastor Jody Rinas expressed appreciation to the ladies for their efforts and also to the people who attended to make the event successful.
