Cyclist killed on Wellington Road 7
On March 27 at approximately 6:30am, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Wellington Road 7, north of Guelph, where a cyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle.
48-year-old Richard Lane of Fergus was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and OPP is asking that anyone who was driving on County 7 around the time of the collision, and saw the cyclist or has a dashboard camera to please call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
