The Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse (CWML) league is seeking the public’s help to bring Toronto Rock players here next summer.

The league has to sell 500 tickets for the Feb. 3 Rock vs. Roughnecks game to earn a spot on the hometown tour camp.

The Feb. 3 game will also feature the CWML members playing a short game during the intermission.

The CWML will also be a part of the player tunnel, welcoming the Rock onto the floor.

“We’re trying to get these tickets sold ahead of the Christmas rush, for gifts,” said Kasey Beirnes, vice-president of CWML, and retired member of the Toronto Rock.

If successful, the Rock will come to the Centre Wellington Sportsplex at some point  next summer when the minor lacrosse season is underway.

Each age group/team for CWML gets to participate. The day camp will include a full day of training.

Tickets for the Feb. 3 game are $30 each or $100 for four. To purchase, contact Helena Avila at 519-826-8556 or email helena.avila@magna.com.
