CW Shuffleboard Club participates in International Shuffleboard Association Championship

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Seven Centre Wellington Shuffleboard Club members participated in the 41st International Shuffleboard Association (ISA) Championship at San Benito,  Texas, USA from Oct. 27 to Nov. 2.

A new award was created in Bilton’s name – the Myrna Bilton Congeniality Award. This year’s recipient was Teddy Wacholz, right, from Chicago. Here, Wacholz accepts the award with Bilton and his wife, Sammy Wacholz, left. Bilton, who has been ISA president for eight years, said having an award created in her name was “a very humbling experience,” and noted she’s made many friendships from around the world through the ISA.
