CW Pee Wee "AA" team out of playoffs
The CW Fusion Pee Wee ‘AA’ team has been eliminated from the OMHA semi-finals.
The boys won game three of the series with Oakville 2-1. This set the boys up to win the series at home.
Game four was a bitter battle and looked to be going into overtime with a 1-1 score late in the third period.
However, Oakville found a way to the net scoring with 1.4 seconds left on the clock. This set up game five in Oakville. The boys gave all they had but found themselves on the losing end of a 2-0 score.
Points in the last three games went to: Jakson Kirk (two goals), Ben Witmer (one goal), Caleb Willmets, Zac Tofflemire, and Zac Hatch (one assist each).
Christian Linton was stellar in net throughout the series, team officials said.
The boys and their coaches should be commended on a fantastic and successful season that also included championships at the Essex Earlybird and Stratford Silver Stick, team officials noted.
