CVC hires new CAO

On June 14, Credit Valley Conservation chair Pat Mullin announced Deborah Martin-Downs as the conservation authority’s new Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary/Treasurer effective Aug. 6, 2013.

Through her experience as director, Ecology Division with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Deborah Martin-Downs brings broad organizational, operational and technical leadership to CVC.

Her 30-year career in the environmental community includes both private sector consulting and public sector, in-the-field postings.

“She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to CVC. Her strategic leadership and her ability to inspire excellence in her staff will prove an enormous asset to Credit Valley Conservation,” Mullin said.
