Curtains for curtains at hall
Minutes of Wellington North’s building and property committee noted the non-flame spread-rated curtains for the new stage at the Arthur seniors’ hall must be removed as stated in the fire safety report.
Chief Building Official Darren Jones gave the committee a quote for curtains and installation, at $991; however the committee rejected that because they are not used on a regular basis.
Jones was told to remove them.
Committee members also spoke about an addition to the former Arthur municipal office.
The committee had not received any information so it told CAO and Clerk Lori Heinbuch to send a written request to the Arthur Archives, asking for it to be represented at the committee's March 24 meeting.
