Cultural exchange bursary awarded
Township resident Carly Ellis was awarded a $500 cultural exchange bursary by Mapleton council on Nov. 26.
Ellis is the second recipient under the new cultural bursary program.
Ellis is in her fourth year, studying health sciences at the University of Western Ontario specializing in health promotion.
She is currently completing the first semester of this year at L’Institut d’etudes politiques de Paris and hopes to continue in studies of Health Law at Dalhousie University or The University of Alberta.
