Crime Stoppers Month

Incorporated in 1988, Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington is a non-profit charitable organization that combines the best efforts of the media, the community and the police in the fight against crime. A group of dedicated, concerned citizens makes up the voluntary civilian board of directors. Celebrating 25 years in 2013.

To date, in Guelph and Wellington County alone, over $35 million in property and narcotics have been recovered off the street, 2,143 cases cleared and 3,786 charges laid.

Each year, January is marked as Crime Stoppers month, nationally. The goal is to raise awareness of the Crime Stoppers program and its phone line at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and website at crimestoppersguelphwellington.com.
