Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington raise $3,250 at shredding event
MOUNT FOREST – Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) board members, friends of Crime Stoppers and Wasteco Canada staff teamed up to raise $3,250 at the Sept. 14 Mount Forest shredding event.
The event, which promotes awareness of identity theft, provided a safe, professional method of destroying documents, and supporters were lined up for the drive-through service before the 9am start.
Shredding events are key fundraisers for CSGW, which uses funds to pay tipster rewards and to operate the program.
