Crime of the Week
GUELPH-ERAMOSA - Sometime between 9:30pm on Feb. 2 and 8am on Feb. 3, a break-in occurred at the Petro Canada on Wellington Road 124 at Wellington Road 32.
Someone gained entry into the building by smashing the cement wall with a sledge hammer. Stolen was a large quantity of cigarettes valued at about $10,000, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
