Creative Awakenings to open at Harriston library on April 5
HARRISTON - The Minto Arts Council is hosting Creative Awakenings from April 4 to 27 at the Harriston library.
The show features 12 artists from the Saugeen Artists’ Guild.
More than 50 pieces of art will be on display. The artists’ reception will take place on April 5 from 6 to 7:30pm.
Coming from the Saugeen watershed area, the Saugeen Artists’ Guild is a group of about 30 seasoned and emerging artists who together inspire and motivate one another.
Their members include painters, potters, blacksmiths, jewelers, woodworkers, photographers, glass workers, fabric artists, mosaic artists and sculptors.
This artist and artisan community in the Grey Bruce area is flourishing and exhibits regularly in other communities while advancing awareness of arts in many forms.
