Crawford, Norma Isabel (nee Ayerst); of R.R.# 3 Moorefield passed away suddenly at Palmerston and District Hospital on Friday, October 24, 2008 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Crawford (2000). Dear mother of Janice Holmes and her husband Michael Poirier of R.R. #3 Moorefield and Bruce Crawford of Listowel. Loved sister of Doris Mary Friedmann of Oakville. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Francis and Henrietta (Patterson) Ayerst, one sister Margaret Holborn, two brothers John Ayerst and Melville Ayerst, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Carlton Holborn, Wally Friedmann, Annie Ayerst, William Crawford, Mary and Fred Hoffman and Eva and Jim McKenzie. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Monday, October 27, 2008. Rev. Elaine Beattie conducted the Funeral Service in the Moorefield United Church on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 11am. Interment Bethesda Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society, Moorefield United Church or Palmerston Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
