Cox, Helen Audrey; Suddenly at Grove’s Memorial Hospital, in Fergus on Friday, March 18, 2011. Helen (Shelburne) Cox of Hillsburgh, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Fred Cox, for sixty years. Loving mother of Danny Cox and his wife Joanne of Guelph, Norman Cox and his wife Manon of Fergus, and Susan at home.
Cherished grandma of Casey, Nicole, Cory, Meaghan, Curtis, Leslie, Brendan, Brianna, and Riley. Great grandma of Georgia. Also survived by her sisters Bertha Powell, Eileen Hancock, and Diane Hedge. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Brown. Mrs Cox rested at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street, South, Erin, where the Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11am. Rev. Wayne Maddock officiated. Spring Interment, Huxley Cemetery, Hillsburgh. Visitation was on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. If desired, donations to ARC Industries, or The Holiday Home, both in Guelph, or the Hillsburgh Fire Department, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
