County road in Erin under construction
Wellington County has begun work on Wellington Road 50 between the Third and Fifth Lines in Erin.
Wellington County construction manger Mark Eby reports there will be times the road will be completely closed at the location of excavation.
The work is expected to be completed by the early fall. Included in the work is grading to facilitate the relocation of the Bell line, complete road excavation and adjustment of grades to take out hills and valleys and placement of a new granular road base.
Paving could occur this fall if there is sufficient funding in the budget, said Eby.
If paving does not occur this fall it will be completed in 2017.
