County engineer re-elected to Ontario Public Works Association board of directors
'It’s a great honour to be part of this association': Kudo
WELLINGTON COUNTY – County engineer Don Kudo has been re-elected to the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) board of directors for his ninth year.
Kudo has been an OPWA member for over 15 years and served as president in 2022.
“It’s a great honour to be part of this association,” Kudo told the Advertiser. “It’s a great network of public works professionals.”
The board of directors provides oversight on networking events, technical webinars and association committees.
“It’s a really great way to connect with people and learn more about what’s going on in other communities,” Kudo said.
OPWA will be led in 2026 by a six-member executive committee and a 14-member board of directors.
The not-for-profit organization connects the public works community and promotes professional excellence/public awareness through education, advocacy and the exchange of knowledge, states a Feb. 26 press release.
